LWDC Rs/V4 - Tribute to the Aprilia Rs250

(English - Français) (Eng) Some things don't change, and so does not my affection for Aprilias! I am very happy to share with you the photographs of my new project which pays tribute to the iconic Aprilia Rs250: My inspiration often takes his origin in memories and emotions... I still remember very well that day in 2001-2002 when during a motorcycle ride at Lake Como I came across an RSV1000 equipped with a white Rs250 front fairing that I have never forgotten.... So when I bought my RSV4 in 2019, the temptation to draw inspiration from this memory could not be stopped ! Adapting the fairings of an Rs250 on an RSV4 may seems simple or easy, but I was faced with more challenges than I expected, starting with respecting the shapes of the famous 2-stroke around a modern motorcycle, very slim but very far from its inspiration. It was therefore necessary to move forward step by step and constantly rethink the volumes in order to keep the filiation while offering a motorcycle with bal

.... Après un avant-goût partagé il y a de cela quelques semaines, voici les premières images de mon 3ième projet réalisé sur la base d'une Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200. Quelques détails supplémentaires seront ajoutés, peut-être une peinture sera réalisée mais le résultat que vous avez sous les yeux représente déjà 90% du résultat final. N'hésitez pas à me dire ce que vous en pensez ! A suivre... 鈉 .... After a foretaste published few weeks ago, here are the first images of my project realized on the basis of Aprilia Dorsoduro on 1200. Some additional details will be added, maybe a painting will be realized but there are as well very strong chances that i may keep the bike at it is now. LWDC Kit 80's AMA Superbike "Track version"

(English / Français) (Eng) After revealing the road version of the Tuono V4 "80's AMA Superbike" which pays tribute to the motorcycles that competed in this championship, I did not want to stop there but to continue towards the version that I had in mind from the start. The additional modifications consisted of getting closer to the version for which this project was born, namely a kit to transform an Aprilia Tuono V4 into what could have been a superbike version of the 80s .... If the "street" version ( with road accessories) was the first to be revealed, it is quite simply for logistical reasons as to the production of parts that would be shared between the 2 versions. If changes have been made, it is above all deletions that have been made, such as regulatory road accessories, but also the creation of new elements: - Red-orange shutters to close the room left when the front turn signals are removed - RSV4 belly pan that includes aluminum finishing triangles
