Chapitre 3 de ce projet en-cours, la plaque numéro LATERALE vient d'être thermolaquée au dos et envoyée en peinture.... En attendant son retour la semaine prochaine, voici quelques photos du montage sur le coté du café-racer avec l'explication du pourquoi du comment du c'est quoi ça ce crochet....
Alors pourquoi ce crochet ? Prenons les choses dans l'ordre... Au départ il y a le support sacoche que je souhaite utiliser pour accueillir une plaque numéro LATERALE dans l'esprit flat track. Je décide donc de m'inspirer de la plaque phare de la P2.3 Pikes Peak (à découvrir 2ième quinzaine du mois prochain) et de créer un évidemment sur le coté droit. Par contre, quite à percer la plaque je décide d'ajouter une fonction et y insérer un crochet pour accrocher un casque ou plus tard être un support pour un accessoire à venir.... Alors bonne idée ou non ? Seul l'usage le dira alors, à suivre ?
Chapter 3 of this project in progress, the side number plate has just been painted black and sent in painting for the front.... In the meantime to get it back next week, here are some pictures of the assembly on the side of the cafe racer with the explanation of the hook...
So why this hook? Let's take things in order... At the beginning there is the bag holder that I wanted to use to accommodate the side number plate in the spirit flat track's ones. So I decided to take inspiration from the front plate of the P2.3 Pikes Peak (which will be released 2nd half of next month) with a "hole" on the right side. I decided then to find a function to the "hole" and insert a hook to hang a helmet or later be a support for accessories to come .... So good idea or not? Only future will tell ! To be followed ...
