2019 Version LWDC Project1-P1 Cafe-Racer

(English/Français)

2 years after I launched the P1 Cafe racer, I felt some upgrades could be done to enhance, improve, or even mature her design : The carbon fiber fork guards, the Brembo PR19 RCS front brake, the bar-end mirrors, the number plate side panel, the sub-frame bag carrier (and later maybe an alcantara seat cover)...

But this is notably the advanced front light that needed to be done to give more dynamism and energy to the bike ! And let me tell you how happy I am with the result that is matching exactly what I expected ! I have asked Luca (www.swissmotorcycle.ch) to make a front light extention bracket and later to my friend Damien "Abra-Tarabia the magician" to make another one but fully adjustable.

Now I really feel that I got the bike I wanted to have at the start of this adventure and believe me, I am ready as never to enjoy again and again !

The "riding experience" is now very different as the weight is distributed differently with a little of extra weight on the front but this is mainly due because visually the bike is longer (now you really see the front light when you are seated on the bike) and lower (the mirrors migrated at the bar-end)  and that is a nice feeling : You get even closer to the cafe racer spirit the bike was built for, and again, that is nice.... Simply !
